Finding Peace In The Quiet of A Late Night

This is another one of those paintings that took nearly two years to complete. I started this painting in March of 2024 and completed it in February of 2026. I’ve included a couple of snapshots below of varying stages that I found on my phone. I always think it is interesting to see how things evolve. That reminds me of something I read somewhere that someone said, if you are the same personal at 50 as you were at 20, then you wasted 30 years of your life. I suppose that makes sense for art as well. Your work and creativity reflect where you are at that moment in time. I guess if that is true than this painting is where I am at now, at the moment of completion.
