Those of you who have been with me from the early days may remember when I used to create a lot of small paper pieces using my old 1950’s era typewriter. I would run my drawing paper directly through the typewriter and the type directly onto the piece. Then you may have noticed that those pieces stopped. Well, that is because that old typewriter ended up getting damaged and was no longer useable. On top of that, I was looking for something very specific to replace it.
I am happy to say that I finally found it! I will include a pic here so you can see the “new” one. Well, it’s not technically new. It’s a 1940’s Royal typewriter with the wide carriage. (I really wanted this wide carriage, so that I will be able to run much larger paper through it.)
With all that said, this is the fourth piece to come out of the “new” typewriter.
