The series, Portraits of Future Past, merges my love of history with my love of art. I love the idea of bringing old, forgotten photos back to life. Our life span is short. The memory of us is not much longer. This series is my attempt at reviving the forgotten past and give it new life into the future.
( I have been on a fairly constant painting sprint for the last three years. So, I’ve been making more time to work on smaller pieces like this. It is time to let those creative muscles take a break and spend some time working through some other ideas. Ideas, like this one. )
